Remember the Sabbath

The Sabbath: A Quick Overview

The Sabbath is a beautiful gift from God — a day set apart for rest, worship, and restoration. It's not just about stopping work; it's about reconnecting with the One who created us. From the very beginning, God Himself modeled the Sabbath after six days of creation, inviting us to pause, reflect, and delight in His presence.

We Are Called To Remember the Sabbath

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God." (Exodus 20:8-10NKJV)

God didn’t suggest we keep the Sabbath — He asked us to remember it. It’s easy to forget the things that matter most when life moves fast. But God, in His love, carved out a special time for us to slow down, breathe deeply, and realign our hearts with His. It's a weekly reminder that we are His, and He is ours.

Sabbath Keeping Is Not Law Keeping

"We don't keep the Sabbath to be saved. We are saved, so we keep the Sabbath."

The Sabbath isn’t about earning salvation — that’s already been given freely through Jesus Christ. Instead, remembering the Sabbath is part of turning away from the old life of sin and walking in the newness of life that Jesus calls us to. He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15).

It's not burdensome — it's a response of love and gratitude for everything He’s done.

God Is Supernaturally Calling His People

All around the world, something powerful is happening: hearts are stirring, and more and more believers are remembering God's Sabbath. This isn’t by accident — it’s a move of the Holy Spirit. In these last days, God is awakening His people to walk more closely with Him, to remember His commandments, and to prepare their hearts for His return. You are part of that calling.
